A IT term for a little hardware device that is plugged into your computer. The device is a key that enables their software to run.

Generally, dongles are a pain in the neck for users. They used to be more common than they are today.

No, more like a smack across the face from the evil Steve Jobs.

Seriously, if you have seen their commercial where the person spins through a collection of records by moving their finger across the screen, the movement of the finger across the touch screen is a "swipe gesture".

What does that mean - swiping gesture? Is that like when you use your credit card?

Very nice! If anyone wants to visit Harmony online she can be found at www.llamafarmgirl.com along with her fellow llamas. You can even buy her soft downy, non-gaurd hair fibers at www.llamafarmgirl.etsy.com.

Good morning! Excellent blog post! It is always nice to see what my family is up to. I didn't know you are listening to Pillars of the Earth. So is one of my co-workers, and it is on my someday-to-read-list. The only Ken Follett that I have ever read was The Key to Rebecca and that was years and years and years ago. (We actually own that book if you haven't read it yet.) So 40 hours of listening time. If my commute is 10 minutes long and I only drive it 3 times a week, I don't think that is the audio book for me.
Last night, when I went to bed, Agent K was listening to that Brief History of something and they were talking about Manifest Destiny. She was sleeping, of course, but do you think she can learn history by osmosis like we used to do when we were her age by putting the book under our pillow at night hoping the facts would flow into our brains for the test the next day? Ok, well, I bet her way is actually more efficient since there are actual sound waves coming out of her stereo...
I can't wait to see what you guys will be up to next weekend since I'll be missing all those events too. You will have to get some photos of Agent J's first Softball game for me!

Wow! I must admit that sounds like a good read. I have really enjoyed your reviews as we have some similar taste in fiction. I was curious, what would be a 5.0 on the IHA scale? This book was a 4.9... what did it lose a fraction of a point for???? Was the ending satisfactory?

My most recent audio book is Twilight... that most likely does not surprise you. I've read it twice, now am listening to it in the car. I can even tell when the audio book has made a little change from the text (small ad libs or whatever). Yes, I just love that book.

Hope you've had a nice weekend and got that cleaning done too! ;)

Did I actually use the word discretionary? Wow, that has a lot of syllables. I think that must be your word as I've been a SAHM for 10 years....
