On copyrights and RSS

Many thanks to Denise Howell for her thought provoking comments on a post a couple of days ago on copyright holder rights in the age of RSS feeds.  It definitely provided some more food for thought.

As there is quite a discussion going on Lawgarithms on this subject, I’ll focus anymore thoughts on this subject on that site rather than spreading out all over the internet.

UPDATE (September 3, 2006):  Denise’s argument has prompted another thought and persuaded me that the nature of RSS may result in less copyright protection.  See my post in the Lawgarithms comment section.
